Deadly Premonition is the single most amazing game that looks and plays like crap.
It looks like garbage and the controls are AWFUL - but the game is seriously good. It's very hard to make people who haven't play it understand, I've tried to get friends to play it and they are like "the game looks like crap" and it really does, but the experience and the actual game when you play it is anything but - it's pretty great.
Also, I just went 36-4 on BO2 TDM Turbine, no camping/sniping. That's my best run yet, got me pumped to play more, then I went 20-18 on Hijacked the next round then face-palmed and quit for the night.

Im looking at the game on youtube and tbh to me it does not look that bad. Reminds me of the old school resident evil games that i used to love.
But why are the zombies bent and walking backwards lol??? Reminds of a scene i saw in a trailer not too long ago.

Most reviews gave it an awful score, IGN gave it a 2/10 for example, but it's so good.
Lol that's part of the charm of the game, you play a detective that has a split personality that he talks to through the whole game (talking to himself), while goofy music plays and you shoot people who walk backwards.
You just have to play it.

Played about 10 hours of Far Cry 3 total now.
It's definitely not "Skyrim with guns", the "side quests" remind me of MMO style quests, go kill X thing, drive car through x amount of portals to collect prize, collect XYZ plants, unless I am missing some serious side quests (could be) then these are all throw away things and I have yet to find anything interesting except the main story/hunting/crafting.
The open world aspect is cool, I like the hunting/skinning/crafting system the most so far out of everything. Taking bases and finding radio towers is kinda interesting and gives me something to do, but these things feel very "gamey", I hate to use the word but there's 0 "immersion", it's like a ton of mini-games outside of the main quest so far.
I'm enjoying the game, pretty good, but definitely not anywhere near Skyrim's level of open world/quests/attractions/depth, to be honest I found more depth/things to do in Skyrim's newest expansion than the 10 hours I have into FC3. Which is fine, I mean the game is pretty good for what it is, but I heard it was compared to Skyrim so many times from different places that I am kinda disappointed as it's nothing like it.

Just hopped back into WoW more seriously. Now that I am level capped on a new character and am actually getting things done, I realize that I like a lot of the changes. It isn't as easy as just spamming dungeons and turning in points for gear anymore.

Been playing Diablo 3 again for the new Uber bosses and just generally farming the new Monster Power stuff with friends. It'll get boring again soon as, of course, there's not really much NEW there but it's fun atm.

Give it a go. The new Uber bosses are quite fun, and gives a reason behind farming (getting the keys needed to craft the Infernal Machine to get to them).
The Monster Power thing is pretty cool as well, 10 being pretty damn hard (can't do ubers at 10 yet, 7 max so far).

I still have a lot to do in that game. I stopped I think around Act 2 on Hell.
