While RPGs may not test reflexes, coordination and such - they sure as hell can test inteligence And they do it while providing a GREAT story (thinking of FF7) here and keeping that story going for several times longer than any movie ever could.

I love RPGs because they make me think and because, when they're really good, I become emotionally invested in them And I love FF7 especially much because 12 year old me got the game with my very first Playstation, and that's when I really started gaming. True love

heh well there we go a pretty good answer to my question, although I played that mario bros superstar saga rpg and got bored pretty quick and it wasn't that hard too. Have nay of you played earthbound - mother 2? this is one fooked up final boss

Very enjoyable game, just keep in mind the game is very difficult when you first start, and most people tend to get 5-10 hours into the game and must restart. The reason being that the game doesn't give you a good enough tutorial to make you understand exactly how important satellites are, and they take so long to build and it's so difficult (when you start out) to get uplinks going to host them, that many new players fall into that trap and it's game over 10 hours in.

This game plays a lot like Civilization in that if you make a few wrong moves 15 hours in, you very well might have screwed your game. Time to start over. It's definitely not for the faint of heart or those who don't like to start games over.

Just do a Google search on how to properly start a game before you start playing.

Been playing FF dissidia.

Sucks that there is so few playable characters but it is still very fun and having the soundtrack(though few right now, i have to download the rest)from every game is great. especially One Winged Angel, holy shit does that get you amped up.

Extremely wishful thinking but i hope they hurray up and make another one for the Vita or PS4.

I decided to give Dark Souls another shot.

Admittedly the first time I played it I wasn't too much into a long RPG at the time, was just seeing what the fuss was about, got frustrated and quit like 5 hours in.

After having some more time with it and actually planning and really putting effort into learning the game, it's pretty good and not nearly as hard/frustrating as some (including myself) would have made it out to be. I mean, I've killed the last 3 major bosses without dying once, the game isn't hard or frustrating if you treat it more like a strategy game than a third person RPG.

Anywho, enjoying it a lot at the moment.
