Yup! You should run through 7, 8 and then 9... All games are great.
I actually believe 5 and 6 are on the PS store as well

8 is underrated in my opinion. People give it alot of hate for the graphics, the story and the protagonist. I still think it was awesome though, the whole orphanage storyline was awesome
And any FF that has that ridiculous "running around the world"-map is aces in my book

I can't stand any FF above number 9.
They started going down at 10 in my opinion, and has gone down more and more in each installment.
With that said, I thought FF8 was pretty bad, from the emo kid you play to the story and character switching off and on, to the horrible draw and summon system.
That's just me, though, a lot of people like 10 and some think 8 is awesome, I just don't.

I also disliked the draw and summon system of 8, I agree with you on that The story though, I though was awesome.
As for 10, I enjoyed that more than any other FF game since 7. Voices (And blitzball) aside it was a spectacular game. Sphere-grid was a breath of fresh air and the storyline was really astonishing. The Dark Aeons in FF10 international are some of the hardest battles I've had in any game ever and Auron was just pure awesome!

I wish they would just remake FF7 already.

That would indeed be amazing. Though they're currently working on a FF10 remake

Well, it's not really a "remake", I believe it's getting an HD polish with a few tweaks, much like Metal gear HD collection or the Silent Hill HD collection that just came out.
When I say FF7 remake, I mean a full blown, new graphics new animations new path layout to compensate for the upgraded graphics/animations, I mean going from FF7 tech to FF13 or higher tech, not just throw HD on it and tweak a little bit.
I will probably try FF10 HD though, I haven't played it in a long long, long time, so I might like it now who knows.

I think I need to clarify myself. For the past few weeks, I've been collecting feedback. I have excel sheets, word documents, quotes, graphs, you name it.
In order for a collaboration between the devs and the fans to work, I need you guys to CONTINUE being constructive, and organizing your thoughts. I know where to look, but I need you to help me by contributing to the dialogue.
Saying "this blows" helps no one. Saying, "I enjoyed X but I found Z _____ because of A,B,C" is what I'm looking for. Channel your frustration into something positive (such as the RetakeME3 movement - constructive, organized thoughts).
Chris and I are both collecting your feedback. We're listening. Make yourself heard

If anyone is interested (I know it's a dead horse around here by now) you can go there and post your thoughts on the ending, what you liked and didn't like, they have officially announced new endings and or DLC that changes things up and fixes the plot holes and other things, and this thread is specifically meant for the dev team of the game to look at and take hints/suggestions etc.
