It was nothing like the graphic novels it is supposed to be based on. Seeing as I loved the books, its always difficult to not be critical.

I've yet to read the Graphic Novels. I thought the series was phenomenal though.

Well, there are 13 books, but ive only seen 6 TV episodes so far. I'm willing to give it more of a chance. But the fact that I'm so disappointed with the script already, doesn't fill me with hope.

Did you guys enjoy Battlestar Gallactica?

It depends on which version your talking about! I loved the original but the new version was just awful! I found it to be completely depressing. Granted its more realistic that way considering the nature of the show but I didn't find it enjoyable at all! Also, I found the final season of this show to be complete bullcrap. "Were going to throw all are technology into the sun!"

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Damn straight. I don't really like tv that much. When you do the research I've been doing over the past few years you'll realise most TV is propaganda bullsh*t. There are a few I like though.

- Family Guy
- The Simpsons
- Ross Kemp on Gangs
- Curb Your Enthusiasm
- Anything remotley connected to MMA
- Ditto football

Movies.

- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
- Human Traffic
- The Expendables (Stone Cold v Randy Couture, epic)
- Friday
- Harold and Kumar get the Munchies (makes me wanna burn this motherf***er down!)
- All Zeitgeist movies
- The Karate Kid (better than the Rocky movies IMO)
- Raging Bull
- 300
- Song Of the South (funny in so many ways)
- Taxi Driver
- Godfather (nearly perfect)
- Godfather 2 (PERFECTION IN MOVIE GOODNESS)

O man... I loved it. I expected something completely different. But in the end it became a story about humans and religion and the cyclic nature of it all. Very depressing, as you say. But then, if there are only 50000 humans left alive, with no planet to live on? ... Thats some depressing shit whichever way you cut it. The realism was something you dont see very often. You could count the amount of times somebody laughs in the whole show, on two hands. Horrible it was. I loved it.

Oh, and just saw in a post above me. How could I forget. Family guy. Oh deary me. How funny is that shit?
