Dex's wife, Rita. She wasn't too bad early on, but caused all kinds of problems for Dexter in the seasons leading up to her death, getting paranoid and accusatory over Dexter's secretiveness when she would not and could not ever know or understand why he had to be that way. But it's ok. After she died her young daughter took over the job of flipping Dex irrational overly-emotional shit for no good reason while he shoulders a lonesome burden of matters of life and death every day.

I was gutted Rita died. I like her character. ALthough I like to think of it as a warning to all hot actresses who won't show bewb.
