Dexter

So, this starts up again in Autumn. Who's gonna be watching? And what story arc do you think this season will take? Last season we saw more of Dexter's emotions and him becoming more 'human'. Will that last now Lumen is gone?

Me and Kry just came

Your welcome, now go clean up.

so excited for this season. kind of an interesting approach if they actually make the possibility of him being a servant of god part of the season 6 plot arcs. no weirder than they direction the writer took with the books though.

honestly i got bored with the series a bit in the season with 3rd rock guy and then with the ending of that season kinda killed it for me for i really liked the character they let go of. plus the sister annoys me to no end. I really liked the show tell that season though. i think the main thing that made me bored with it is i watched all the seasons in practically one really long sitting

have not watched the season after that one though, was it good? im sure i will catch up on it before the new season starts to give it another shot

I'm excited for the season, but I really hate the idea of the show taking a religious turn. The only show that that worked in imo was Supernatural. They made the whole Angels/Demons/God story arc absolutely incredible.

However, Dexter isn't a fantasy/sci fi show and won't be going that root. Instead, there will just be moments that are possibly going to be cringe worth and boring for certain viewers.

Merged with Dexter thread.

I was CHEERING when they got rid of "that character". Annoying, fickle, whiny, passive-aggressive, nosy, controlling, drama-prone, seemed to exist simply to complicate Dexter's life. They did ease up on the character's dickishness toward the end, I think just to make viewers actually feel sadness rather than relief when "it" finally happened, but it didn't work on me.

i just viewed that character as a yin yang of sorts to dexter and the character really grew on me.

now if the sister would get killed i would jump for joy for she cant act for shit

Ex. Well, they're seperated. Filming must be oh so awkward.
