Anyone else feel like Tig was gettin' the kiss of death. Had a strange feeling. With Kurt Sutter aka Otto it's tough sometimes to see what kinda twist he's gonna pull. At last, Clay reveals himself as the Machiavellian culprit which we pretty much clued in on already. Gemma is free falling. Nero is one character with a lot of depth and that's really because of the actor Jimmy Smits. The Mayans, the Triads, Niners, Pope, Cartel, and SOA all working togeher. It's a small world.
IMO both Jax and Tig are becoming more ruthless due to graphic deaths of their loved ones. Sutter did say that Oppie's death would fuel Jax and I think the same is happening for Tig who had double the experience(daughter and Oppie). I think he could possibly do some kind of murder-suicide thing were he goes guns blazing and gets killed in the process. Not sure when or who gets Tig's wrath but I think it happens at some point.
Also they showed us what we already expected. Clay is behind the home invasions and is working his own game. I'm curious to see what happens with Nero going forward. Jemma has been a stupid bitch all season.
I think my prediction for the episode was right.
Only group missing, are the cholos and ABs for obvious reasons. Wonder if Nero will play a stronger supporting role because he's one helluve an actor who brings a lot of depth into that character. A former G who's gone legit, but has a soft spot for his kid. Gotta love these conflicted characters. It's all Gemmas fault. She's the black widow.
Now to the Clay situation. It could continue to the next season with this guy. If they kill em off this season what are they going to do the next two seasons. That's what I'm wondering. So I think Clay may break off with the Nomads as you only need seven chartered members to open a new chapter. This is in real life. Don't ask...haha. This type of politics happens all the time in the biker world, then a purge ensues. Jax will have to battle Pope, Rico case, Otto, Gemma vs his wife, and an internal power struggle. Jax should have cut it right then and there. Opie was right. He chose the wrong guy. Opie proved his valor and brotherhood beyond a REASONABLE DOUBT x 100.
SEASON 5 EPISODE 7 - TOAD'S WILD RIDE
Kurt Sutter at his best with crazy cliff hangers.
Gemma...Gemma...Gemma...it's obvious. The old regime is done. The show is very realistic in its' portrayal of all the different threats that occur; external, internal and everything in between. Too bad the kids had to get dragged into this.

What a crazy episode. They always build up to something at the end and it' usually pretty crazy. They really make us think that Jax's oldest son is dead or atleast very injured. The younger kid is crying but the older kid is motionless and we see the blood at the end of the episode. I really hope that dumb whore Jemma is dead but we won't be that lucky.
She had a crazy look in her eye, didn't really seem like she passed out? I don't know what Jemma was doing.
I really thought Clay was gonna shoot Unser, not just when the guys broke in but even after he and Unser killed the 2 Nomads. I don't get the drive up on Jax and Chibbs, I'm going to be super pissed if Chibbs dies. I'm curious to who was behind that attempted hit. Next episode should be another good one.
The writing and acting in this show is just spot on
Clay not killing Unser was a curveball to say the least. I was sure he'd shoot him. And then Jax gets attacked by black guys, what the hell was that? Pope doesn't make sense. Since Unser knows it was the Nomads, Clay hiring them wouldn't make sense either. Maybe Roosevelt went off the deep end?
I hope Juice is the one they execute next episode. He should have been killed already for being a moron and a snitch. Even if he somehow outs Clay to the club he still deserves to die.
Heard fantastic things about this show, going to give it a run through after I've finished The Shield.
They definitely create some great buildup at times and leave you on your seat. One good thing about starting up late is you don't have to wait a week to see what happens. This show has some great moments.

Yea, it's definitely better to marathon through shows rather than wait week by week - which is what I'm currently doing with The Shield.
