Actually, that's where i got the inspiration for this thread. I watched the gameplay for the game, remembered how i used to love Bonanza as a kid and now it's time for some western movies.

Edit: One other western I thought was fun was Two Mules for Sister Sara.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

That is a good one! I can't remember the name but there was one with Clint Eastwood where he kept spitting on a dog Seems like I liked that one.

Tombstone is my favorite all time but the new True Grit is awesome as well.

Dog spitting one is Outlaw Josey Wales.

I didn't really think the new true grit had much over the old one. Both Good couldn't see the point in a remake.

Red Dead Redemption. Wow. That game consumed me for weeks.

I didnt even play it properly. I would trot around, admiring the views. Go play some poker. Go visit my hut by the river, where I would sit and watch the sun go down. Whilst, in reality, I would put down my controller, light a cigar, and chill.

That game was like taking a holiday. A wild west holiday. Twas awesome.

310 to yuma was great more than any i suggest that one.

The Quick and the Dead is one that is ok kind of silly but phenomenal acting jobs by russle crow and gene hackman

also pretty much anything with clint eastwood would be a good western.
