Speaking of wives I just did a bad thing to Ysolda. The thieves guild wanted me to plant a stolen ring in her house in one of the Shill missions. hehehe I'm a bad husband. Of course she doesn't get arrested for some reason.

A lot of raw materials from the armorers mostly. Doesn't make sense to buy equipment, when making it is so much cheaper, and levels smithing (quickest way I've found to level overall for perk points).

From the general store in Dragonreach I bought the Grand Soul Gem (Grand Soul) because he ran out of money to buy the next wave of shit from my dungeon romping.

Buy Grand Soul gems (or get Azura's star), buy the materials for smithing/enchanting/alchemy, buy the houses in each major city (solitude's house is 25,000 gold with about 8,000 gold to furnish it, for example).

There's a lot to buy, but as SF said, gear isn't worth buying (except for some necklace/rings if they have stats you want).

i guess i can go buy all the houses, the arch mage quarters and my first house have a enough holding space for me but eh might as well.

have not worked on alchemy or smithing yet, have so many gathered ingredients for i never leave anything behind anywhere i go no sword shield butterfly or flower.

whats funny is i still have not went and scaled the 7000 stairs to talk to those people yet. but that is one of the things i like about this game if i dont want to do the main story line i dont have to till i want to

Well, each house has a quest or two related with it (have to do the jarl's quest in order to buy it), so buying them is optional but it helps "complete" the game, purchasing all the houses.

Just an FYI though, the blood and ice quest is horribly, horribly glitched in multiple ways (the quest in windhelm where you have to find the killer of the women), so make sure you save before doing that one so you can re-load, as it's known for glitching bad.

I also saved the main story for quite a while through my game. The main story is pretty good, though, in my opinion. Also, you can only get a fully powered FUS RO DAH (unrelenting force) shout through the first 2 quests or so from the Greybeards, which is the most useful/powerful shout in my experience.

Any suggestions on what quests to do next? I have completed the dragon questline, imperials, Winterhold College and Thieves. I know there are options, just not sure where to go next.

Do the Dark Brotherhood. Such a great quest line.

I'm struggling to spend money as well now. I have double enchanted Dragonscale that gives me around 800 armour, with my Wifey rocking a full set of Daedric. 3 houses (Windhelm, Windrun and Solitude) and I have 120,000 gold. 6 or so Daedric weapons with wifey having a shield and mace herself.

I've found so many hearts doing the Daedra quests, you get 4 in one and 3 in another two, can get a respawning one in the Companions home, and the Alchemist in Solitude even had one for sale.

Are there any big gold sinks in this game I'm missing?

Nearly got all trophies now (achievements). I may put off finishing it as I don't want to lose interest once I'm 'done' so to speak when there is tons more to do.
