Dang, I already went left to get glass. But I really like the glass since it's so light, I can carry a ton of stuff back.

Got smithing to 100 in about 5 minutes earlier lol.
Iron Ingots + Leather strips = Spam craft Iron Daggers = easiest max ever. Didn't cost that much either as I had loads in my house anyways.
Having only 58 in enchanting yet having Dragonscale armour is killing me Can't put worth while enchants at all, can only get Destruction spells to a 13% cast reduction.

Sounds like you gotta run around to all the traders and especially the teachers at the college for filled petty soul gems now .
It takes forever to level up Destruction, i'm stuck at adept, like level 65, need 75 before you start getting the good spells.

Exactly the same, trying to find a low level NPC you can't 100% kill, then just spam stuff on him for ages until levels go up.
Even that takes a while though and boring as shit.

Still new in the game. Joined the Legion. Haven't progressed too far. Been exploring a lot. Just bought the house in Whiterun.

I was doing the Dark Brotherhood missions, and just got a dark horse. It's health comes back really fast, so I just spammed at it, now i'm 75. Took like 20 minutes to level up 10.

Yeah, Smithing is so easy to level up, it's ridiculous.
I'd go with the Arch Mage gear until you have the enchantments to get that max reduction (25%). You need 100 enchanting (I think) and since Dragonscale is end game gear, and I'm going to assume you still have a crap load of dungeons/places/quests to do, I'd just put that on the back burner as you progress through more of the game while enchanting when you can. You'll get there, hombre.

Dragonscale is light armor (and better than glass), and you can get that from the left or right side. The bonus of going right on a light armor character is Deadra, you get the Deadra bow, daggers, swords, maces, etc etc, which are the best weapons in the game (after you upgrade them to legendary/enchant them).
It's no big deal if you are full mage or whatever, though, as you don't use those weapons.

I also realized, you can get the conditioning perk for heavy armor to weigh nothing.
Eventually I want 2 sets of heavy armor that weigh nothing. One destruction Mage, one Dual wield (swords etc.)

Well I'm only a day and a half in, but this is already one of my favorite games ever.
My sneaky Wood Elf is pretty nifty with his bow. Can't wait until I can make Elf weapons/armor.
Anybody here got any tips on pickpocketing? I can easily sneak behind someone "hidden" and steal their gold, but I still get caught like half the time. It's a real pain in the arse.

Anybody know if this game is more fun on the ps3 or the 360? I don't know a damn thing about it except it's popular and I'm getting it for my brother (who's got both consoles) for a christmas gift.
