What was the best and Worst game you ever played?

Just as the title says...What was the Best Game you have ever played and what was the worst game you have ever played?

For me The Best Game I played was Fatal Frame 2: The Crimson Butterfly. Who would have thought that a game where the only weapon you have is a camera would be good. It was just one of those games that if you borrowed it from a friend you didn't want to return it. It was scary and dramatic game. I played threw it just to see where the story went and the finale didn't disappoint (depending on which mode you were on of course).

The worst game I have ever played is Dead to Rights (original XBOX)! This game just sucked the shit rings off my toilet. I will never understand the cult following this game has because it just sucks. Its kind of cool that they presented it in a noir fashion but the game play is ******* awful and the story just blew ass. Every two steps I take I keep getting jumped by assholes hiding behind every crevice of the city. Trying to complete this game felt like work then fun. Worst $6.00 I have ever spent.

The best game - Final Fantasy 7. Game is just amazing from start to finish. Obviously if one plays it today without having ever played it before, it won't have the same impact. With that said, features like the materia system and the story don't fade. These 2 are still the best in any JRPG and, generally speaking, any other RPG as well. I mean, these characters have been in multiple games outside of FF7 the original since then, including a movie, Kingdom Hearts series (Sephiroth is the hardest boss in all KH games, and normally a "secret" boss). It's a huge game, and I'll love it when they remake it someday.

The worst game - I'd probably say Halo 3. I like shooting games (well, these days not too much) but I liked them when I first played Halo 3, and I was extremely disappointed. Graphics weren't that good, story was okay but not that interesting. The main thing that killed this game for me, is I just got done playing Gears of War (first game) like a month before this came out. I went from playing a very fresh, very fun game where cover was never done before like that in a game before, to an average shooter in Halo 3 that played like the first halo 7 years before it. Left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I haven't really liked Halo since then, because I've played far too many shooters in my time and it takes a unique shooter with unique game mechanics to really get me into it - that or very good co-op, like Gears 3.

Funny you mention Socom.

I would say:

Best- Socom 2

Worst- This CSI demo I tried... I wanted to burn my xbox for even allowing me to download it.

The best game I ever played was "Freedom Fighters" on Xbox. This is by far the most underappreciated games of all time. I keep hoping that they make some kind of sequel on 360 of PS3, but I havent heard anything yet.

The worst game I ever played was "Busy 3D" the playstation. Holy crap, even as a kid, I found this game incredibly unplayable. Super horrible in every aspect, controlled like shit, looked like shit, and I never had any idea of what the hell I was supposed to be doing.

I'm actually playing that right now. I'm at the part where Sephiroth discovered his origins and destroyed Cloud's hometown. I didn't play Final Fantasy 7 when it first came out but I will tell you that I enjoy it more then FF 13 in terms of story and gameplay.

Please do not remind me of Sephiroth in the KH games. 15 life bars and a devastating combo. How the hell I'm I suppose to beat that? I'm at level 72 with the ultima blade and I still get my ass kicked.

The best one is hard to name... so I'll pick three. The first one is Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time. Awesome game, really nice atmosphere, one of the best soundtracks for a game EVER. And it ages very well. The second one is Final Fantasy 7. The story is second to none and is imo only rivaled by Final Fantasy X (my third game on the list). In my opinion FFX has the best ending of a game PERIOD. I shed very manly tears. And the best thing about it? They're going to make a version for the PS3 in HD!

The worst game I ever played was 'Landwirtschafts Simulator 2011' (Farming Simulator 2011). I was looking for a tycoon game that puts me in the role of a farmer (I'm totally into the whole tycoon game stuff, especially Capitalism 2 and Transport Tycoon) and it was cheap. And MY GOD was it horrible. Worst 5 bucks I ever spent.
