That's Michonne... and they are introducing her in all her comic badassness So stoked. And that big-ass structure there? That's gonna be major for the group. Also glad to see Rick darkening up a little, and they seem to be getting rid of some of the major comic divergences which is great since it had enough story to fill ten seasons of TV.
Yeah, I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this ep, but I guess you can't please everybody.
Yah didn't want to ruin it for the others.
She's a bad ass character! She was an attorney like what's her name...Amanda. Those two zombies with her are her bf and his best friend. Crazy...
Trying to figure out if Merle is the Governor or not. Then what about Daryl.
Now we gotta wait til fall...OR just read the rest of the comics...lolz!
Why didn't they just run over the zombies with their cars...lolz. I'd deck out my SUV with flame throwers, blades on the spokes, equipped with snow removal shovel in the front, spikes in the back, side, and front for maximum impalement. The only drawback would be the removal of them afterwards. But yah that finale was intense. Love the way they showed how the zombie hoarde got there in the first place.

I think I look to deep into shows sometimes. Like when Shane led Rick out to kill him, they walked forever, and then all the sudden the place where Shane decides to shoot Rick is in eye sight of the farm house? And Carl just appears? Bullshit.
As far as the last ep, I really liked it....aside from them splitting up. Another bs thing, they had ample time to get in the cars and drive around, instead they all split up and get ****ed like a bunch of little screaming girls, for added drama. A more realistic method would have been they all get in the cars, but get stuck on a zombie while running it over.
That mansion or whatever it may be is a good sign the show has a long future, it looks fortified out the ass.

That would make sense, although did they have welding equipment on the farm? Without all that extra armor running over human-sized things will eventually destroy your vehicle.
I also thought Merle was the obvious option for the Governor but I read somewhere that someone else was cast for the role. Weird.

If it's the place that logically it would be based on the comic's story progression (and it sure looks like it)... more than you know!

Awesome!!!! The character of Michonne is going to be a part of the show, and it's nowhere as cheesy as I thought it would be!!! (Although, she hasn't spoken yet)
Don't read if you didn't nerd out on the comics or want to speculate.
Can't wait to see who's waiting for them inside the prison! I wonder if season 3 will have cannibals?!! It's getting cold out there and food must be scarce.. it's about time someone loses a limb.

It could just be me but is it a mansion at the end? I thought it looked like a prison which would be the logical place since that is some secure shit once you get rid of the Zombies in the place which would also likely be easy because most of them would likely be locked in cells.

Yeah, it's likely a prison. That's where they went next in the comic, and that's sure what it looked like to me on screen.
As an aside, a prison is exactly where I'd head IRL in a zombie outbreak. Well-armed, heavily fenced to keep people from walking in or out (which basically makes it zombie proof) and even if they breach barriers, it has plenty of internal defenses like heavy doors and locks with checkpoints. Also big state prisons usually have a lot of amenities like stocked medical center, gym/weight rooms, library, laundry, vehicles, fuel cache, parking, kitchen that is likely provisioned with enough non-perishables for a small group to eat off for years, enough cells for everyone to have their own cloister of rooms, sometimes industrial tools and light manufacturing facilities.

And best of all, Generators to run the whole building off of diesel. If anyone knows from reading the comic, is there mention of andrea meeting that sword weilding badass, and where they go next?

She becomes progressively tougher and since the prison she has been the group's best shot and default sniper/lookout.
whoops, looks like i got that pre-edit sorry. yeah, that sword wielding person is a seriously awesome, and in the comic at least, that... structure we saw at the end is where they are headed next (assuming it is what it looks like).

I've actually had dreams of taking out zombies. However in real life "if" it ever happened there's a lot to consider. For one conserving ammo is a pain in the ass and not having enough gas. I'd imagine a bunker (nuclear silo) would be the safest as well. But then how are you gonna get food and water unless there's an underground well + farm land. If you think about it though throughout civilization there has been some pretty devastating diseases; bubonic plague, Spanish flu, small pox (Westerners introducing it to the natives), swine, and Avian flus, etc.
Can you imagine. No dentist, doctor, no UFC, man that's some shiet.
