Finally got around to watching the second half of season 2 (Episode 7-13) and it was A LOT better than the first half
Shane slipping into insanity was masterfully done. Carl losing his innocence, Glenn/Maggie, Daryl evolving (And becoming a more capable leader than Rick in many ways, yet he doesn't step up) and Rick stepping up like a boss at then end were all highlights for me
A few things I didn't like as much though: Lori going full hate on Rick when he reveals he killed Shane, makes no sense. A few episodes back she told Rick that Shane was dangerous and that he should be killed - come on, the writing staff can do better than that.
Dale dying sucked as well, I really liked him and he was really awesome as the groups "link to humanity" in a world where humanity is scarce.
That being said, still an awesome show and two awesome seasons down - can't wait for the third!
Especially now that they're heading to the prison and we've been introduced to Michonne (Who is just a bad ass)
Also - next season another big character from the comics will come into play, won't spoil it but it will be awesome!

Check out the webepisodes online. Now that TWD is on hiatus it's time to gear up for "The Game Of Thrones." Last night was the season five premiere of Mad Men too!

Never got into Game of Thrones - don't know why but if someone can sell the whole idea of the show to me, I'll maybe let myself be convinced. I just have a really hard time getting into new TV-shows, I've rewatched my favorite shows a thousand times while everybody's raving about some new show that doesn't do a thing for me
I've seen the webisodes BTW, with the woman and her kids right?

Oh yah...that was wicked. Ok, as for "The Game Of Thrones"...half of the members on here have read the books so are probably experts in this subject. I'm simply a fan of quality TV shows with rich characters. This is certainly a period piece. If you enjoy sword and sandal epics or fantasy then you should enjoy this show. Put it this way if Gladiator, Troy, or 300 is in your top 20 list of all time then you should enjoy it. In addition to action, nudity, sexy time, violence, gore, there's actually a strong plot line with machivillian twists and turns. There's three major rival clans who all scheme for one objective. It's definitely chess in a grand scale.
So my recommendation is for you to watch the entire season 1 NOW...so you can get ready for the season two premiere next Sunday.

Currently watching 28 days later, it was the first z-flick I really watched and enjoyed (Wasn't really aware of the genre before that)
Oh you have lots to catch up on. Yep 28 Days was the first where the damn zombies were able to run. Zombies are not allowed to run...lolz! Then Zach Snyder did the same for George Romero's remake of Dawn Of The Dead.
You'll like Dead Snow if you havn't seen it. There's tons of foreign zombie flicks that are pretty gold. World War Z is the next big one coming out in 2012! The Zombie film of all zombie films.

Just watched the last Ep again. I like every part of the ep but the part with Lori getting pissed. That was kinda odd. The way they brought Michonne was amazing IMO.
All in all a great 2nd half. I'm ready to see how Rick takes his rule

I agree! Didn't Lori tell Rick that she wanted him to kill Shane just a few episodes ago?
