This season is twice as long as last season. I think they are trying to hard to set stories up instead of just getting to the point.....reminds me of Lost really

Now I'm not sure if Frank Darabont was let go before production went for Season 2, but I'm willing to bet that it's effecting the overall feel of the show. There wasn't one slow moment in season 1...it was like one twist and turn right after another with a zombie lurking in every corner. This season seems to delve in more into the character development however I don't see how or why it takes this many episodes to drag on about Carl or the lost girl. They're minor characters... We all know the stars of the shows are "the walking/crawling dead."

Even still I enjoy the show immensely! Those zombies are bad ass! If you compare their look vs Dawn Of The Dead or some of the other movies they have a different look. It's a lot more detailed especially with the "bicycle zombie" and what about the one hanging from the tree...haha!

you know, i loved the beginning of The Walking Dead, but the last 2 episodes and just the overall ending to season 1, i was left unimpressed.... (no i havent read the comics) i was telling everyone who would bring up TWD and how great it was that it lost me and i wasnt as interested anymore, but i was still gonna watch season 2. i have to say, so far this is getting so slow... i might not even finish season 2... things need to turn around and wow me to bring me back on board.

This season has been good so far. The only thing I didnt really care for was the storyline with Carl. I dont really give a shit about this kid, I dont feel like they did enough with him in previous episodes for me to feel invested in his well being. He could have gone either way and it wouldnt have mattered to me.

If they would have stuck with the original story line he would have played a major role.....But NOOOOOO we are in bizzaro world .

But I am enjoying this season. I can see where it is going

I like realism, shows not to big on that but its good.

A little ot but a few months ago I saw where the UK had something like 24 cyborgs that they were doing God knows what with and I can't find anything about it in the media now.

I agree, whether he lives or dies doesn't matter the only thing that does is that it happens already so the the show isn't stuck to his bedside.
