If any of you ever played SOCOM 1 & 2 for the PS2 and took it somewhat seriously back in the day, you should enjoy these clips. I posted them on youtube a few weeks ago. I found really old video clips I had recorded years ago since people use to think I was a cheater, so I would record myself and post clips online to shut them up.

Only edited a few Socom 1 clips and one Socom 2 clip so far, but I'm working on the others.

I use to be on both Socombattles and gamebattles. I liked it way more when it was Socombattles. I took the game way too seriously as well. I use to be the leader of a clan called FXHD (foxhound) and the only thing I didn't take too serious were the clan wars. I hated clans who always had wars and booted people off for doing bad in a clan war.

Took clan wars seriously since I'm very competitive, but I didn't run my clan with an iron fist.

lol thanks! Yeah SOCOM 1 and 2 were the most addictive games I ever played in my life. I remember actually having adrenaline rushes when I would be the last player on my team and having to outwit and own the other team. No game ever gave me that rush.

I wish they would remake 1 and 2 in HD for the PS3 but keep the aiming, and physics identical to the first two games. I'm also thinking of buying a ps2 on ebay to play these games again.

Anyways, I have a bunch of Socom 2 clips I didn't get around to editing, once I do I'll post them here.

My 4 years of highschool were me playing Socom II (and I) every opportunity I could get. I held the doubles ladder crown for Socom I. In 2007 my buddy and me were ranked #1 on the doubles ladder for Socom II. That game took so much of my time up, but I don't regret it one bit.

Nice! I didn't play much in the ladders since I was the best player in my clan and didn't have enough time to go looking for a good players with the same schedule as me, at the time. But I miss that game like crazy!

I miss it too! If Zipper releases Socom II in HD I would buy a PS3 just for that.

Me too! Sadly, Slant 6 games owns the rights to Socom now and they completely ruined the series

Zipper just released Socom 4 though, and SS is working on the new Resident Evil (which I want to get, but it's Slant Six lol)
