Spartacus (Spoilers of the Damned)

Just saw that the first episode was able to be viewed so i thought i would start a thread up cause i know people are gunna want to discuss this show lol

i just downloaded it and watched the first 5 minutes and stopped to create this thread

So far its hard not to be biased against this show right off the bat, Andy cemented himself as Spartacus for me so i am already seeing the new guy as a piss poor actor for he is not Andy, so in turn is not spartacus for me.

right off the bat they start with a battle scene and from the looks of it the special effects guys and the fight choreographers left the show after andy you will see what i mean

of course im gunna give this show more time then the 5 minutes i just gave it lol but just wanted to share my thoughts

I remember when I saw Spartacus (Blood and Sand)the first time. I thought the same thing. After the 2nd-3rd ep I feel in love. I'm hoping this is the case.

Same here, I thought it was just a 300 rip off. Something made me watch it again the next week, and every episode kept pulling me in.

It is going to be hard seeing the new actor in the part, but I will have to give him a chance, it's not like they had much choice, other than just stop making it.

It just really sucks Andy was THE actor for that part

Chhers for saying the new episodes out, I had no idea. Really going to miss Andy but hopefully it's still good.

Just finished watching the 1st episode of season 2 (not 3 as in thread title, gods of arena wasn't a season by itself).
The feeling was really awkward towards the new guy playing Spartacus, but that would be unavoidable due to the circumstances and emotions driven by the death of Andy Whitfield (RIP).
That feeling slowly started to fade away and towards the end of the episode the the adversity towards the new guy had all passed away. I actually think he makes a good Spartacus, he's just a bit young for the part imo and reminds this mma fan of Sam Stout, but he delivered the intensity we were used to by the end of the episode.
I had forgotten how this show is brutal, had my spine cringing a few times due the very grafic scenes of bones breaking and guts being pulled from belly's.
Anyway, i'm glad the show it's back. The script seems to have structure to sustain a couple more of exciting seasons.

Watched all 3 episodes of season 2.

I like it breach. A lot of intrigues, plan, secrets, plans, fighting and sex...of course.

The new guy playing Spartacus does a good job..but you there is that feeling that something is missing.

PS: this little cutie just became a favorite of mine.

I'm digging her so much. :D she has some really "perverted looks" in all of her scenes. Makes imagination run wild :)

why oh why did the old neivia not come back for this season

WOOO!&HOOO!

it took until episode 5 for me to stop thinking about who was missing and what was lacking but, this one did it!

The whole Arena thing had me as tense as a title fight.

Yeah, that was a badass episode! Got the 4 best warriors from all three seasons together finally. Can't wait to see that shifty Ashur get his, hopefully Crixus can do the honors.
