I enjoy this show so much that I never noticed what a low budget it has until now.
next time they could do the battle episode from the point of view of a prisoner in the dungeon. That might save a couple more dollars.

Intense! Now, there's lots of unanswered questions.

Blackwater was a letdown for me. So the King runs away and the army needs a motivational speech from a dwarf to flank six men? What could've been

He might be your favorite character but the battle still sucked Too much Cersei talking about nonsense and not enough Stannis chopping heads off. Tywin kicking some ass would have been a nice alternative as well
What's the three letter word at the start of your post? I can't figure it out.

It's hard to get the scope of the battles on TV. Budgets get in the way, I am sure.

Yah it was financial issues even though they received an extra budget for the battle. There was a good article about this. They knew they couldn't compete with "Helm's Deep" or a "spectacle" so they focused on interior shots vs grand battle scenes. For a TV show I thought it was pretty good. Same reason they cut Rome although they knew they made a mistake. All is well cuz we have "The Hobbit" coming up in December. Read somewhere that the 300 prequel/sequel and Gladiator are being made.

You're right. Nonetheless their improvisation was good. IE: Chains + ships getting set ablazed vs the wild fire/green anti-freeze tactic. Worked either way at least for me.

For a t.v show I thought it was really well done. What were you guys expecting? Helms Deep or Minas Tirith? You really can't compare, with the budget they had they done a good job.

Supposed to be 4 letter word, I think you like many though are forgetting that this is a TV show and they can only afford to do so much.

Me to, it would have cost a fortune as is, they really couldn't do much different.
