Last month Affliction closed its doors as a fight promotion. A media riot ensued as many wondered where Affliction's fighters would go. The biggest name of course being pound for pound king of MMA, Fedor Emelianenko. Chances seemed better than ever that the nearly unblemished fighter would finally end up on the biggest stage of them all, the UFC. This was not the case however, and legions of fight fans walked away disappointed as Fedor opted to sign with the smaller Strikeforce promotion.
