I would appreciate it if you took the time to read what your about to post. Punctuation and actual sentences are good on forums as it helps people read your posts - They may even be able to understand what it is you're trying to say.

When people like what you post, appareciate what you post, see effort, agree with you - They will rep you and you will to them too. Negative rep is the opposite of that. I don't agree with negative rep.

The more you post, the higher the ranking. That's simple.

Everybody has points and you can use your points to bet on fights, you can enter the lottery for the chance to win more points, you can buy customizations for your username and user title and you can buy people gifts! Like donuts~!!!! It's all very exciting.

One way to use your points is the vbookie link up on the top right with the Usercp link, that is where you can bet on the fights.

I now understand points/credits thanks B-Real & Kamikaze for explaining that.

I have another question but I did not think it worthy of a new thread as its still points related.

Do certain posts have a higher points/credits rating i.e will I get the same amount of points for posting in the MMA forum lounge (which is for off topic chatter)as I would for contributing to the UFC discussion threads which is entirely MMA related.

No sir.

Anywhere, and everywhere that you post on our forums, is worth equal value. No certain section on the site is per-say "worth more" to post in, compared to any other area you may visit.

Like you used for an example: Lounge & UFC Discussion. Either place you decide to post in, will not effect your point value differently. Basically, any area you reply in, no matter the thread, is worth 1.5 points per reply plus a bonus of 0.01 per character, up to 100 characters. For subscribed members, the value is doubled.
