Banking changes?

Was wondering if someone could enlighten me about the Banking changes? Banking is all goofy now. One of the coolest features gone......

Its been moved under the PM Inbox. But its all weird. So many new interests rates. And a loan system that doesnt seem to work (yet). The only thing I know is that Chequing is the spendable amount, and savings is the Banked amount, and aparantly theres a 2% charge for each transaction.

Checking the announcements from time to time wouldn't hurt.

- MMA Forum Credits -

With the recent upgrade to the latest version of vBulletin, we gain a lot of new features such as the blog and multiquotes that are sure to be very popular. There are a couple of features that we will lose because they are not compatible with the new upgrades: eBux and the eStore.

Instead, we are introducing a new currency: MMA Forum credits. Credits are earned the same way you used to earn eBux. You can view the balance of your checking account in the user status panel on the right of every forum page, directly under your PM's. Like eBux before, the new credit currency has its own bank which you can also access using a link in the user status panel.

Credits are earned by performing regular forum tasks such as posting and giving rep. As well, if you deposit credits into your bank savings account, you can earn interest. Credits can be used for vBookie betting. Look for other opportunities to earn credits throughout the year.

Whats the point of credits when noone knows how much you have anyway? If I wanted to make bets noone cared about I would bet on mmaplayground.

I like the idea, I think it'll work well once loans are in place.
