I just bought a 150lbs Muay Thai bag as well, so what do you suggest? Should I put 50cloth/50sand, or should it be more like just sand at the bottom like 1/4 full and the the other 3/4 cloth? This is my first Muay Thai bag and my punching bags came full so its new to me.

Why don't you take a peak inside your punching bags to see what's in them.

fighting is not healthy, in my honest opinion, i am sure when i am older i will be paying the price, i do feel it sometimes right now.
the process is called conditioning, this is done by rolling objects (rolling pins, coke bottles) up and down the shins, this process deadens the nerves that surround your shins and this also helps calcium depost grow over shin bone.

go down to the local spca, or pound and get some stray dogs, pack them up in your bag and let loose.

OK, I got it filled up. First, I filled it with kittens, but that only worked until the smell was unbearable. Then, I emptied it out, lined the perimeter of the bag with carpet, put 30 lbs of sand into heavy duty trash bags, and dropped that into the bottom, filled the rest with old clothes, and packed them in as much as I could. It feels just like the ones at the gym.
