Difference between thumb and no thumb
I'm pretty much an amateur so can someone explain what's the difference between the thumb support and no thumb support variation of a glove? Wuldn't you generally want to protect your thumb? Is no thumb for heavy grapplers or what? Thanks for any input
Also since I'm asking about gloves, would you recommend a training or a competition style glove for overall use. My budget isn't very big and I can't afford a full set at the moment. My gloves are training style right now and they feel rather bulky. Will competition style gloves wear down quickly under bag use?
