I've got a pair of Tapout long shorts. Go down to kneecap level and are REALLY wide at the bottom so good for stretching and kicking. I've got short legs and they are a perfect fit

i like them up above the knee 2 inchs. Its kinda gay but with that length i can kick over my head easy

All shorts need to be above the knee or right at the top. Any longer and they are used to cover you knees from getting scratched up on concert when you are on your knees puffing penis. Jams are for the 80's!! I know how you UK people are behind about 10-15 years on the US, whether it be music or clothing styles.
