Whats name of bike you see on TUF show?

Does anyone know the name of the bike used on the Ultimate fighter show? The one they wear the sweat suits on while trying to cut weight. I've been searching around a bit, and see something called a '' Schwinn Airdyne Upright Exercise Bike'' that looks simular but I am looking for some confirmation before I go out and purchase one.

Also, if you know about this machine would it be a good purchase for me for a cardio workout- and if not what exactly would it work? I don't go to a gym to workout, but do at my home with dumbells and my bench- and jog but its winter soon and some nights I don't see myself freezing my ass off.

I'm looking to spend a decent amount of money to buy equipment so I can workout at my home nearly as well as I could at a gym. Looking around at bowflex's or other machines, and if the bike is not good cardio what machines could anyone recommend me? I'm looking for machines not 10 different weights of dumbells even though that would probably be best.

Thanks in advance for any help! I'm 6'5 and 225 pounds so I'd need equipment that has high weight campassity for lifting too.

Is this the bike you're on about?

Googled the bike you mentioned in your post but can't remember seeing what came up on image search on TUF.

If you're gonna get a bike i highly recommend a spin bike over the other exercise bikes, they just feel more like a genuine bike, replicating the road/hills moreso than a exercise bike.
They differ inprice from $200 to $1000 but i've ridden onthe $200 ones and if you find the right brand they don't feel cheap, i've sat on one for 2-3hrs of cycling and not had any major discomfort.

As for cardio - yes they are good for a cardio workout, but like anything in life you only get back what you put in... and with the inhouse exercise equipment it can be somewhat de-motivating whereas running/cycling outside on the roads if you don't cycle you don't get anywhere, in your house you ain't going anywhere anyway... so try things to occupy your mind such as loud music

The Schwinn Airdyne is what you see on the show, http://www.schwinnfitness.com/schwin...rcise+Bike.jsp

Another idea for cardio is the Concept 2 Rower. www.concept2.com . I have this rower and it is great for low impact cardio, and doing HIIT.

Concept 2 rower is over 1k. I got mine used for 600. They are pricey, but totally f*ck awesome.
