I can't wear double mouthguards, they annoy the sh#t out of me.

This is what I use:
Product:Century Mouthguard System
Nothing fancy but they work great.

i have never tried one of these doubles... it looks like it would help with my breating troubles, without letting my jaw hang open... i picked up 2 other shock doc guards, but have not had the chance to fit them or try them out yet... i know protech is supposed to have some of the best.

I use Shockdoctor Gum Shield Pro and that works fine with me. i never liked the double mouthguards, it takes a while to get used to i guess. Shockdoctor provides the cover you need and fits good. Arent that expensive either

I use that model also, i prefer it over regular uppers because it helps cushion shots to yer jaw(my opinion)
Yes it does feel strange at first but you'll get over it.

Nah double mouth guards piss me off. All you really need is an upper and thats it.

I Think it does help with breathing probs... One of the guys i n my dojo uses one and has a mess up deviated septum and its ok with him!!! Judo Jewelry - the leader in martial arts jewelry!
