i saw some focus mitts in hibbets the other day for like $25. Try making your own punching bag, i can send you a link if you want. And puzzle mats, i saw 25 sqft of it at big lots for $12. Or if you wanted to, in TN there's a rubber factory ovr here and i can get enough rubber mat to cover my room for a bout $30, so check around for local rubber plants. hope this helps

I appreciate that you took the time to type all this.It was helpful.I would also love a link.I love the idea about the rubber, but I don't think that will work considering most of my friends are wrestlers and they slam, but if I can find a rubber plant I will ask around and check it out.

Thanks,

you can find a lot of that stuff on craigslist.

for Mats, try www.getrung.com

for heavy bags, www.everlast.com they also make thai pads, focus mitts, etc.

i also like fairtex, but they can be expensive.

you can also visit the store on my website for some good deals. www.dansmuaythaimma.com

Best wishes. Post some photos when you are done.
