Hi guys, new to the forum. Ill be going to New York for the first time (staying in the Broadway area) and was wondering where the best places were to pick up some mma gear.

Im looking for MMA sparring gloves, fight shorts and Gi patches.

Offtopic but do you guys think that if i showed up at the Gracie gym Renzo would sign an autograph lol?

I was just at the MMA Expo and meet some people from really nice family owned MMA store. It's called Fight Gear. I am sure a google search will turn up some results. There is also Fighter Warehouse too. Best of luck. Welcome to the East Coast.

I googled fight stores in ny because i live here and have trouble finding places to buy my equipment other than modells and dicks sporting goods..anywho i signed up just to reply to that fight gear store,that store is absolute trash..all they carry is shirts that are popular that week, they have about two open packages of ufc gloves and just about nothing else. its terrible

I haven't been to the store myself, but I saw them at the NY MMA Expo, and they have a fair amount of gear there. I bought some Combat Sports Grappling Shin Pads from them. They go for about $60 online, and I got them for $45, which isn't bad.

Also, like I said, there is Fighter Warehouse. Have you been there?

yea im sure they were on they're best behavior at the expo so they could sell stuff..maybe they're not that bad lol.
and no i haven't been to fighter warehouse, ive looked over the website and they look great, i wanted to pick up a pair of hayabusa 4oz's and when i called the guy said they're always in stock.so ill be going there after i get paid.
