Mouthpiece question

Would a mouthpiece that covers both upper and lower teeth work just as good if not better than one that only covers upper teeth?

Yeah, but a lot of that is personal preference. Double mouthpieces take a little longer to get used to. Good mouthpieces are really there to keep your teeth from banging together and breaking.

I have both, but I personally prefer my single for most of my training. It's a lot easier to deal with, and when I really start to gas, it doesn't constrict the breathing as much.
