Barefoot Training?

Just wondering if anyone has been training barefoot, including running and weightlifting? I have been trying this out for the last couple weeks and i am feeling better during sparring sessions. i think i am lighter on my feet. when running outside i use vibram Five Fingers. They are barefoot shoes. they look kinda funny but I think they are worth it if they help training, check them out if you have never seen them - http://www.fivefingerfootwear.com/po...ootwearcom-faq

If its a shoe... you aren't barefoot. Even if its V.F.F.'s.

I train barefoot, but only my striking and grappling since you don't compete with shoes on.

I wouldn't recommend lifting barefoot ever, just doesn't sound smart.

Running barefoot, unless its a clean beach, also wouldn't recommend. If for no other reason than to avoid stepping on something sharp you failed to see and slicing your foot.

Ya, thats what the FiveFingers are for. they have tough soles and its the only way i could run atleast somewhat barefoot on my route.

As for weightlifting, its been kind of a different experience lifting barefoot. I feel like my stabilizer muscles in my legs are getting a harder workout.

I do some of my training barefoot, and some with shoes/socks. When I'm hitting a heavybag or shadowboxing, or sparring I'm barefoot. However when I'm running I wear underarmor running shoes, and when I weightlift...I could care less what I have on my feet, I'm building muscle in my trunk as well as legs, my feet are of no concern as long as their flat and balanced, I usually am wearing socks I believe.
