Best New Way to Train for High Altitude !

So with Battle at the Beach right around the corner, training has been knocked up to hit peak performance the next 2 weeks. Starting to cut back on the lifting and focusing more on explosive movements, cardio, endurance, and actually rolling. Along with all these adaptions I have added a new weapon to my training equipment. Its called the RZR mask, an awesome product I picked up while at the UFC Fan Expo in Last Vegas.
The RZR mask is a device you place over your mouth and nose to decrease the amount of O2 your lungs receive. Now you might be asking why would you ever want to actually decrease your O2 levels. Well when you train at a lowered level of O2 your body begins to adapt to that amount and will become used to only receiving a fraction of what it normally would get. Now in any sport when a mouthpiece is applied this will benefit because you will have conditioned your body to function will the lower levels of O2, and once you get normal O2 your conditioning will drastically break previous plateaus. Not only am I in a sport where you have a mouthpiece but in fighting you also will have people choking you, leaning on you, and covering your mouth so adjusting to the demands of lower O2 intake will not only increase your conditioning when you have normal O2 ie. standing in a fight but when it goes to the ground and your airways become blocked for any reason you can handle the situation with ease and worry about the fight not about breathing.
I personally have been using this piece of equipment for the last 6 weeks and have seen an awesome change in my training.
