MMA shorts size

Before I started with MMA, I was an "bodybuilder", and with an easy squat at 440 lbs, my ass and thighes got some muscle mass...

When I started with MMA I had an Tapout shorts, and it fits like an glove. And it's a size 36....

After starting seriously with MMA, it came to the point where I had to buy new clothing. And I choosed Notorious Fightwear Topline MMA Shorts in a size 36. When I got the shots it was to tight, i couldn't get it over my ass. And I couldn't lift my feet more than a few CM.....

FTW is going on! Isn't 36 a 36??
And then I saw the Hayabusa Black SHIAI Competition shorts, so I was wondering if anyone her have these shorts and know if they are in kids size or if I could ware them...? (Don't want to pay 40++$ for a shorts that's to small)
Or is there an other shorts that could fit???

NOTE:
I took some measurements, if anybody is in the same situation as me :)

23,6" = 3" over the kneecap
26,6" = Midle of the thigh
29,1" = Top of the thigh
46,1" = Middle of the ass
39.8" = 3" under my navel (belly button???

TNX to anybody who helps!
