Hi, My name is Michael Bradley and I'm currently developing a product for training Muay Thai.

It's a boxing pad that displays the power of every punch you throw.

We are currently making revisions to our product based on what features fighters would like to see.

I wouldn't place the display directly on the pad, as it would be prone to being hit. In particular when people try to hit as hard as they can they lose accuracy.

And as this is an MMA forum, it were nice if it would also be usable for kicks, which means it would need a bigger surface and have multiple possibilities to fix it at a wall/heavy bag etc.

Otherwise, if it's at an affordable price, it would be a nice tool for training.

Would also be nice to be able to adjust/rotate it so you could measure hooks, upper cuts, knees etc. Any maybe record a few strikes in a row so you could measure combo's
Although, obviously such feautures would push the price up.

Those are some great ideas, I think you're right about people hitting/breaking the display. Somehow our engineer was able to make the display recessed into the pad and guard it. He's a lot smarter than me.

Combos is new, I've never heard of that one. Maybe a button to recall the past couple of hits might make it more interesting.
