rooting for "The Black Attack"! Njie is one of those guys i wanted to see in the UFC for a while. Decent record, lots of finishes and still fairly young.

So it looks like that fight with Fedor got Monson into M-1 Global. It's also good to see Alexander back into the fighting circuit as well. I didn't realize that there were that many fighting events this weekend.

Ahhh Aleks, so much wasted potential, watching him whomp Rimkevicius gives me some satisfaction.

Crazy amount of Friday events, can never complain about a lack of MMA these days!

Yeah, especially with all the upstart promotions and regional promotions nowadays. And with the number of good talented fighters it's also a good thing. Anyways should do well.

I really don't want to think things like this but the Aleks fight looked very fixed. He got dropped in the 1st and the guy just stood there and let him get back up and regroup. Then Aleks caught him with a decent combo in the 2nd and the guy just turns his back and gives up... He may have broken an orbital that is the only excuse he can have. Either way it was pretty poor.

Alessio and Guymon both won btw. Alessio could get a UFC call with one more decent W i reckon - 10-2 in the last 3 years is pretty good going.

Tadas dropped him and then went straight for the kill but ended up in Aleks guard, not sure if you watched the fight TBH.

Did ya see Vera's reaction when he broke his orbital bone?! That sh*t hurts and really Tadas was far too slow and has very limited stand up skills that he was never gonna come back in that fight, why take further damage when you can come back another day?

No way was that fight fixed, just Aleks in there with someone not on his level is all.
