Some of you were introduced to Tyrone Spong shortly before the 2010 K-1 World GP Final where he took on Alistair Overeem in the first round of the now-defunct tournament. Back then, Tyrone Spong competed at heavyweight and fought to a burly three-round decision, giving Alistair Overeem the gnarliest fight of his 2010 K-1 title run. Come on, of course I'm going to scavenge YouTube and find the video of the fight for you.
Since then, both fighters have stepped up in the evolutionary chain and are now considered 'Blackzillians,' completing the cycle of teammates turned opponents turned teammates. That could be the storyline of a Nickelodeon-produced special that teaches kids the value of friendship. Damn, I need to write that. Screw it, I'm playing Diablo 3 instead.

haha, I was JUST about to post this.
I think he will do great in MMA. Dude is skilled, and I believe him when he says he picks new stuff up fast.

Came here to post this as well.
Anyway, i'm excited. Almost 70 K-1 victories, very fast, been training with Evans for quite some time now and now being one of the main guys at Blackszilians. Also love the fact that his pretty much always been one of the smallest guys out there, now his going to be a huge 205 lbs'er. |
