Resurrection Fighting Alliance's November card is nearly complete, and promotion officials have added a number of MMA notables.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed with company executives that in addition to previously announced headliners of Marcio "Pe de Pano" Cruz vs. Gilbert Yvel and Efrain Escudero vs. Tyson Griffin, RFA 4 will feature Alessandro Ferreira vs. Fredson Paixao, Phil Dace vs. Chidi Njokunai, Toby Imada vs. James Krause, Derrick Burnsed vs. Dakota Cochrane, Bubba Jenkins vs. Jimmy Spicuzza, Nick Macias vs. Lance Palmer, Jimmy Jones vs. Sergio Pettis, Chris Holdsworth vs. Tyler Shinn and Steve Mocco vs. Carl Postma, among others.

RFA 4 takes place Nov. 2 in Las Vegas at Texas Station's Dallas Event Center. The event airs live on Fight Now TV.

Ferreira (10-2) fights for the second time under the RFA banner. The Brazilian prospect dropped a March decision to Jared Downing at RFA 2 marking just the second loss of his career. The Brazilian opened his career at 9-0 and has eight submission wins to his credit. He now meets Paixao (10-4), a five-time Zuffa veteran who hasn't fought since a brutal knockout loss to Pablo Garza at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale in December 2010. The 33-year-old previously registered key wins over Masakazu Imanari, Rany Yahya, Thomas Denny and Bryan Caraway, among others.

Las Vegas' Dace (8-2) puts his five-fight win streak on the line against Njokuani (8-3), a knockout artist and younger brother of UFC and WEC vet Anthony Njokuani.

UFC vet John Gunderson, who recently signed with the promotion, was scratched from the event due to a previously exciting contract with the recently licensed World Series of Fighting Promotion, which is expected to hold its debut event on Nov. 3 at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

"John is going to honor his contract with the World Series of Fighting," RFA matchmaker Scott Cutbirth today told MMAjunkie.com. "When you sign a contract with somebody, you have to honor that contract."

Gunderson's previously scheduled opponent, WEC vet Krause (16-4), will now meet Bellator vet Imada (30-16).

Another apparent conflict with headliner Yvel, who is listed on the WSOF's website, was the result of an out-of-date roster, Cutbirth said. A rep for the WSOF confirmed that Yvel signed a contract with an earlier incarnation of the promotion but did not re-sign when it underwent a change in management and wasn't bound to fight at the Nov. 3 event.

With the events falling so close together, it appears the promotions will be vying for the same audience. Cutbirth, however, said the promotion isn't concerned about losing fans.

"I'm comfortable with where we're at, and I'm confident our show will be a success," he said.

Burnsed (10-2) is 5-1 in his past six appearances and has earned all 10 of his career victories via stoppage. He meets Cochrane (12-3), who defeated Joe Stevenson in the main event of RFA 3.

Additionally, Pettis (5-0), the younger brother of UFC lightweight Anthony Pettis, makes his promotional debut opposite Jones (4-1), and former Olympic wrestler Mocco (0-0) makes his MMA debut against the heavy-handed Postma (1-0).

I know it's just a tiny little typo kinda error by our admin boss, he'll fix it I'm sure. Still going to be a pretty sweet card even without those two.

Well they've got a few name fighters on this fight card. The rest can be considered rising stars I guess. I wondered what happened to Tyson Griffin.

Yeah I'm liking the thinking of these smaller leagues. They draw you in with big name fighters, and you stay for the prospects and up and comers.

Yeah I really like supporting up and coming fighters. It's also fun to see a guy rise and make it to the UFC. I watch as much MMA as I can. Anything that comes on AXS, anything that streams on junkie or sherdog. I'm currently in love with OneFc and the quality of shows they are putting on. It might be even more entertaining then Strikeforce was at it's peak.

Without a doubt ONE FC is better then Strikeforce was at its peak. That promotion is on the rise and without a doubt is becoming a springboard for Asian fighters. That's a rising market and they are taking advantage of it.
