LAS VEGAS -- This is the WSOF live blog for Miguel Torres vs. Marlon Moraes, a bantamweight bout on tonight's World Series of Fighting event from the Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Torres, who is 40-5 in his MMA career, will be fighting for the first time since being cut after his UFC 145 loss to Michael McDonald, while Moraes is 8-4 in his MMA career.

Round 1: Kim Winslow is your referee. Torres checks a high kick. Torre with a kick, Moraes answers with a combo, they hit the ground and Torres attempts a knee bar. Back standing a minute into the round. Moraes pushes Torres back with a front kick. Moraes throws a combo, Torres counters. Still standing midway through the round. Moraes fans on a spinning back kick. Moraes with a low kick. Moraes with an overhand right . Moraes drops Torres with a punch, Torres rolls and is back to his feet. Torres is cut on his hairline about his right eye. Torres circles backwards. Moraes with a high kick. Torres with a body kick late. MMAFighting scores the round for Marlon Moraes, 10-9.

Round 2: Moraes with a low kick. Torres starts swinging and Moraes responds, but neither guy does any real damage. Torres with a straight left and Moraes with a two-punch combo.
