Yeah, he's one of the few major boxing draws around. Hopefully Floyd becomes gets the icon status after this and starts drawing huge.

Im sure he will, because hes still considered to be very young. As for De La Hoya, he has a lot left in him, but he always talks about an early retirement and with his high status promotion company (Gloden Boy Promotions) he really doesnt need the extra money.

it's ridiculous the amount of money boxers can make on a fight like this. De La Hoya has been retiring for years now. I still think the ufc could make a cleaning in bringing him or Floyd in after their fight, not to sure how much interest is there. As far as Tyson, even if he came in and got whopped or ko'd mma would be taken alot more seriously and attract a huge audience in the states. Tyson/Lidell could be the biggest money fight out there now.
