is 10 years mma exp enough to join the UFC?

Is 10 years of mma experience enough for a person to join the UFC.
I notice there are some younger guys in there who coudln't possible have more than 15 years exp but what do you think?

It really depends on how much that person has accomplished in ten years of MMA. If they have a rather large list of championships and few losses I'd agree it's enough. If it's average I'd say maybe.

It's totally down to W/L records and also who you have beaten.

A KO artist with very few losses and a good streak of wins in medium organisations with only 3 or 4 years experience could get in the UFC.

I bet a lot of TUF contenders dont have anywhere near 10 years exp.

Experience in competition wise or training? Doesn't really matter though.

Jon Jones made his UFC debut 4 months into MMA. Matthew Riddle's MMA pro debut was in the UFC.

The Ultimate Fighter is still that medium to which fighters could potentially make their MMA debut. It's rather rare though nowadays because in MOST cases the UFC requires TUF fighters have previous fight experience. The criteria has changed overtime.

Yeah, he really is a human cheat code. 4 months of experience, 6-0. Took on Gusmao and Bonnar in just his 2nd UFC fight.
