Greg Melisi's Back???
So the new word is that Greg Melisi's making a comeback. Many might only know him as the guy who tapped to Matt Serra in NYC, but for those that remember him and his fast feet keep an eye open. Here's a bit of info on him. Amature record 38-0 31ko's, Professional record 12-2 10 ko's. He was a phenominal kickboxer and I hope he really comes back. I want to fight him again. I don't know if he is going to fight for the legendary promoter Lou Neglia again but I think he can do better with a promoter that doesn't take as much as lou for fees. I have fought Greg in 2 different countries and watched him as a young fighter and mimmicked his moves and enjoyed watching him on MSG, and espn. He was nasty, he had a killer spinning backfist, and seriously strong potential to drop someone with those leg kicks. I herd that he wants a rematch with long reigning champ Angelo Di Bella(Montreal), and Kickboxing great Tommy Battone. I was there when he lost to Angelo, but what wasnt talked about was the fact that Di Bella had 3 broken ribs and had to go to the hospital after there fight and get his nose straigtned back out. I for one hopes that that fight takes place. I wonder if he has the smarts to stay away from serra...
