Does Josh Barnett vs. Fedor Emelianenko still appeal to anyone?
For the longest time this was the fight everyone wanted to see. At the time Fedor looked invincible and nobody foresaw him losing to anyone anytime soon. Many believed Barnett would have been the one to give Fedor his first true loss. They would have fought if Josh hadn't tested positive for steroids and the entire affliction card got scrapped because of it. Since then things have changed. Fedor ended up losing three times then went into retirement. Lets say for the sake of argument that Fedor came out of retirement and was slated to face Josh Barnett. Would this fight still appeal to you? Would this be a must see fight or is all the luster gone?
You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam
