Counter-move
There is a thing that had caught on among the local thugs and bullies..They come up behind somebody and grab them by the neck with one hand.If I am not mistaken something like this was once taught in the US Armed Services, circa WWII...but they were aiming for the mastoid process near or below the ears.
My question:If somebody grabbed you like that, how would you counter it?
Appreciate your feedback, Ferdelance

Yes. Just with one hand. Theyhaven't gotten around to me yet, but I've seen them do this to other people. I understand that it is painful. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Ferdelance

My english is not that good so i might not explain it like i should but what i would do is taking the hand by the wrist (with both hands) turning it so the palm is facing up, pull it and make an armbar placing the elbow in your shoulder and lifting my body up as i pull the arm down, if done hard enough the arm should break

In the words of Bas Rutten
Bang! Bang! Bang! At about 3 minutes 9 seconds in you see Bas do a reversal to a hair grab from behind (yeah I know he's bald). This is applicable to the scenario that the original thread starter posted.

That was a funny as video but accurate. I've never seen anyone get out of the full nelson like that, usually you just kick the knee or heel to the crotch.

I saw that escape from a Full Nelson in one of Bas' older instructional sets. What he doesn't do in that clip is the full falling slam that follows the leg scoop. If you notice at the end of doing that bit he says "I broke someone's rib doing this." I don't doubt it. When he puts the move on his training partner in the videos I've got, his training partner can't move and they cut the tape.

You push on a pressure point directly below the ear and behind the ear. If done hard enough you can make guys bleed from the ears.

Wouldn't that also be a good place to hit with an edge of hand blow? Also, how would one locate this point? Your desocription is slightly confusing to me;maybe it is my poor language skills.

OK if you run your hand down the back of your ear where it connects to your head you will that there is a small hole like place right where your jaw, ear, skull join. There is a small pressure point there. Yes you could stike there i guess probably hit the skull though. The point is if you apply enough pressure bleeding results and you bleed from the ear losing balance.
