Takanori Gomi vs. Nick Diaz Result. Refund?
After the news from NSAC that due to Nick Diaz's positive test result for weed, his fight with Takanori Gomi at PRIDE 33 was changed from a win by Nick Diaz by Gogoplata Submission to a 'No Contest'.
So if Gomi didn't officially lose, shouldn't all of us here who lost points by betting on Gomi get our money back? Since it's now official that the match was a no contest, thus, without an official winner?

I see what you are saying, and I guess fair is fair, but do you also take the points away from the people who won? What if they don't have enough points to cover it? Also we all know Diaz won that fight fair and square, **** the NSAC. What do the points mean anyway? After a while you get plenty of points to buy whatever titles and other stuff to fill a lifetime, then what? I don't look at a person's points, or the amount of green dots under their name for that matter, when deciding whether I respect them. I know who I respect by the posts they make.
I guess what I'm saying is technically the fair thing would be to refund the points, but it seems like it could be quite a hassle for the admins and for something that is essentially meaningless.
And this is coming from a person that lost points by betting on Gomi.

You gotta be kidding me to think you should get the points back.
Diaz should've never got his fight overturned.
Sylvia/Diego keep their wins, but Diaz loses his; retarded!

objective look:
fight gets overturned for a "good" reason... (like if randleman would have beat shogun)
do you get your points back?
point:
It doesn't matter what the hell the NC was for. The point is, that the fight has been officially ruled a NO CONTEST.
What happens to the vBookie points?
(so if you think the judges gave the fight to the worse fighter, do we get to use our opinion to determine who really won the fight?)
get smart dudes... seriously.

Good point, then perhaps they'd only refund to those who lost the points? It's pretty complex but it's just a thought.

I know Gomi lost fair, and I personally think that it was a very pointless and stupid decision to take Diaz's win and change it into a NC but that is now the official result

That's just a dumb thought. You take the decision that was made at the time of the bout and live with it.

Yeah I know, but I was just thinking that since there is now officialy no winner to the fight, that a refund should happen. Or something like that.
