If it's to stay in Japan as they have said than why not?I believe that some of the japs fight only because of their nationality and not their skills,but i don't think there is a MMA organization with top fighters only.Every tournamenet has B-level fighters as well.Therefore when your base is in Japan you preffer to get japanese fighters to fill in your roster cause people are more familliar with them(the same things occurs if you're base in USA,Brazil etc).So i don't see any reason for the new owners to change that especially when is hard to find lots of much better fighters than those you already have.

the reason i ask is it was a Japanese owned business so i would say that the fighters would more likely to be Japanese but now since its diff didnt know if they would be the same recruiting

I bet they'll keep a strong Japanese presence to appease Japanese fans. While they may not boo fighters from other countries, don't doubt there's just as strong of a pro-Japanese bias here. The fans just have a lot more respect.

They'll keep alot of the Japanese fighters because most of the events are gonna be in Japan and they will want to appeal to the Japanese fans. I don't think they will keep some of the ones considered cans around. PRIDE always showed favoritism to some of those guys.
