Headlined by a bout between Mamed Khalidov and Melvin Manhoef, KSW 23 has added another marque matchup between heavyweights Mariusz Pudzianowski and Sean McCorkle. KSW 23 takes place Jun. 8 from the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland.

A former 'Worlds Strongest Man', Pudzianowski has fought a who's who of formally notable heavyweights clinging to the edges of relevancy. Fighting nearly exclusively in his native Poland, 'Pudzian' has enjoyed mixed results under the KSW banner since turning pro in 2009. With back to back wins over Bob Sapp and Christos Piliafas, Pudzianowski could get a bit of streak going with a win over McCorkle.

After putting together a lengthy six-fight win streak since bouncing out of the UFC, McCorkle has gone on to lose three straight. Interestingly enough, he's fought in 10 different promotions in 10 fights. His upcoming bout with KSW would make that 11.

Also on the card, former 'Ultimate Fighter' winner Kendall Grove faces Michal Materla for the vacant KSW middleweight strap while Karolina Kowalkiewicz fights Marta Chojnoska for the women's 55 kilogram title.

Had high hopes for Super Mario. With more training he might be able to move up...but if he loses to Sean his dreams go poop. Being a 5x champ should count for something. He should learn the jiu jitsu game and power his way through submissions.

McCorkle will be crushed just by sheer force

That would be a pleasant site fo sho! He cracks me up when he fights. Very reminiscent of early Brock!

Any decent fighter with an ounce of a killer instinct and good stamina can beat Super Mario. Unless he has lost 150 pounds and has been running daily for 6 months, then hes gonna throw a few bombs, go for a takedown, or gas in the first round. McCorkle should whip his ass easily. Im just saying. I LOVE Pudz as a person and a a strongman, but this is the fight business and Im calling it how I see it.

I cant believe Pudz was going to fight Aleks Emelianenko. Glad he pulled out of that one, cuz even with a bad leg he didnt want any of Lil Em.

Unlike the Sylvia fight, Alek is a much better fighter who could win.

Mariusz just needs a BJJ coach. Seriously imagine if him and Brock were black belts. Do you realize how nutty that would be...
