"A rather disappointing crowd"

I am watching the fight between Jermain Taylor and Corey Spinks.
At the very beginning of the show Jim Lampley is already complaining about the rather disappinting crowd for the fight. Where ever they are, the venue, except for the floor level is completely empty!

This solidifies the reason why boxing is dying and why De La Hoya Mayweather didn't live up to the hype.

mma is the new boxing and boxers are overrated anyway. the de la hoya and mayweather fight was an expected ending for a dying game. De la hoya is out of his league and mayweather left the sport on top knowing full well boxing is dead.

That Pavlik fight was a pretty good fight actually. If boxing would put more sluggers against sluggers id get back into it. I cant see myself sticking with this though with Spinks coming up. I hate watching runners

I agree the Pavik fight was pretty good. If the De La Hoya MW fight went like that it could've saved boxing

Man! Jermain Taylor is really full of himself. I can't believe he can still talk as much shit as he did after winning a split decision! How can you be pround of something like that. Sure it's a win but if your the champ you should prove and and do that by putting on good fight not a 12 round snoozefest.

while i agree that he is really full of himself and very annoying to me, Spinks ran around like a girl the whole fight. Taylor had no chances to really put anything together. These kind of fights are what have lead to the decline of boxing
