I love the fact we gonna see fantasy match ups and get to see who is the undisputed champion but wish it wasn't at expense of losing PRIDE altogether.

Im excited about the dream matches but you lose WAYYY too much in the process. Im going to extremly miss everything Pride had that the UFC doesnt. Of Pride and UFCs setups the only thing from the UFC that I like better is the octagon but Ill still even miss the ring becuase I like variety. The thing Ill miss the most is the production and atmosphere of Pride. It was just such a damn good product and its a god damn shame its over. No dream match is worth the death of Pride. I could go on forever about what Ill miss but Ill stop there.

I will miss the knees to the head and the soccer kicks, so basically yes, I will miss the hell out of PRIDE.

Being a big Pride fan I miss the obvious things like the rules, big production, the atmosphere & the ring girls. But what I miss the most is the consistency of their fight cards. The match-ups would ensure fireworks & I never ordered a PPV that let me down.
If the Fajitas don't do anything with Pride besides bring all their top-level fighters over to the UFC then it would be a damn shame.

I feel mostly dissapointed with what has been happening as of late, they brought in Henderson, thats kool for the match-up way to look at it, but he didnt even get to give a Pride fighter a shot at his titles before he defected.

I still want to see Pride events at full force, it gives the MMA world a lil variety and competition, vital things that every business needs.

If they end up bringing Fedor, then it will solidify their intents for the end of Pride, and my respect level for the Zuffa Corp. will drop tremendously.

It'll start off with the Yakuza busting in during the UFC 72 Murphy/Obrien bout, but it'll look like grand theft auto 2 from the arena's arial cameras.

I hope the UFC isn't going to totally obliterate PRIDE! I'm hoping they keep it running to build legit up and comers. Seriously, they can make a lotta loot using the PRIDE name, why would they wanna get rid of it? If they did keep it running, will the japanese even support it? or would they be forced to Americanize the name over here? I'm thinking they'd bring it over, I can't imagine Dana and the Fertitas walking around Japan, or waiting to get into an event. If they do keep it and bring it over, hit up MASS!
