Patrick Cummins – 4-0-0 - American – 33 Years Old - Opponent W/L: 4-5, Last Fought: Jun ‘13
Cummins is arguably the best wrestler on the light heavyweight list this year – he was a 2X All-American at Penn State, a NCAA runner-up and narrowly missed out on qualifying for the 2012 Olympics. Cummins trains at a great camp at Reign MMA, where he gets in top quality training alongside UFC fighters Mark Munoz & Jake Ellenberger. The 33 year old decided to make the switch to MMA after being brought in as a training partner by King Mo to help him train for a figh, and soon made his pro debut in 2010. However he hit a rocky patch in 2011 when he was forced to put his MMA career on hold in order to serve time in prison for burglary. He successfully returned a year later in 2012 and has has smashed through his first 4 opponents, with none making it out the first round.
Miguel Angelo Gentilini – 5-0-0 - Brazilian – 18 Years Old - Opponent W/L: 0-4, Last Fought: Aug ‘13
Miguel Gentilini has an excellent stand up game - he is a Brazilian karate champion and also holds a perfect 11-0 Muay Thai record. After winning his first fight by decision Gentilini has since finished his most recent 4 fights, winning 3 fights by TKO and the other by submission. He runs his own camp, Gentilini MMA, where he also trains; and he fights for the Brazilian G1 promotion where he is their light heavyweight champion. Incredibly Gentilini made his MMA debut back in 2009 when he was just 14 years old. Now 18 years old, he is still one of the youngest fighters on the 2014 list.
Leonardo Leite – 3-0-0 - Brazilian – 35 Years Old - Opponent W/L: 6-2, Last Fought: Nov ‘13
Although he only has 3 MMA fights to his name, Leonardo Leite comes from one of the best backgrounds on this year’s list – he is a long time Judo black belt and one of the most successful judoka’s ever to compete in jiu-jitsu, becoming a 2X World Jiu-jitsu Champion. Although he has fought all his MMA fights at light heavyweight, he has previously fought in jiu-jitsu competitions at 185 pounds so a drop to middleweight seems possible in the future. He is a late starter in MMA at 35 years old but has fought all 3 of his fights in 2013, finishing one by submission and going to a decision twice. His best win came over the previously unbeaten Diosman De Jesus (3-0). He also trains out of a great camp at Brazilian Top Team.

German fighter Stephan Puetz has had a busy start to his MMA career – he made his debut in 2012 and has fought 9 times already. He is one of the tallest light heavyweights on the list at 6’6” and his accomplishments include winning the 8-man light heavyweight tournament for the German SFC promotion in 2012. He has finished 7 of his 9 fights, with 4 TKO and 3 submission wins. The 26 year old has recently stepped up in competition and beaten Poland’s top heavyweight Dawid Baziak (9-4) and the previously unbeaten Tassilo Lahr (4-0), both of which took place in 2013.

A former college American Football player, Neal Ewing has transitioned to MMA well, winning his first 4 fights. Shamir Garcia is a Portuguese born MMA fighter fighting out of America. Although he has just 3 pro fights he has one of the most extensive amateur career’s on the list, being champion of 5 different promotions and holding a 19-2 amateur MMA record. On top of this, he has a great background in striking, holding an 8-0 amateur muay thai record and 2-0 amateur boxing record. Since turning pro in 2013 he has won all 3 fights, with 2 wins by KO and the other by submission. In his most recent fight in December he picked up a good win over veteran Ray Lopez (7-5).

Brazilian fighter Uda burst onto the scene last January when he submitted one of Brazil’s top Light heavyweight prospects and the previously unbeaten Richardson Moreira (5-0) in the very first round. Uda has destroyed all 4 of his opponents to date, finishing every fight, with 3 submissions victories and 1 TKO, and also holds a victory over the once beaten Albini Muralha (4-1). A huge light heavyweight at 6’5”, Osheim has made a perfect start to his professional MMA career after going 4-1 as an amateur. During his time with the promotion he has beaten fighters such as Danie Van Heerden (6-5) and Lance Ceronio (2-2). In his most recent fight he got an extremely impressive victory over TUF veteran Fraser Opie (11-5). The 26 year old has finished each of his 5 fights, with 3 TKO wins (all due to elbows) and 2 submission wins.

Ray Sloan is a training partner of UFC fighter Joey Beltran and is an accomplished grappler, holding a brown belt in jiu-jitsu. The only fighter from Belgium out of all 230 on the 2014 list, Cnudde is one of the top Judokas in Belgium. In 2012 he stopped 2 men in one night (both by 1st round TKO) to win a 4-man tournament and win the BB Beatdown light heavyweight title. Although he has fought all 4 of his MMA fights at light heavyweight he has competed in judo at as low as 180 pounds, so a move to middleweight at some point in the future would seem a possibility. He has finished all 4 of his fights with a mix of TKO and submissions and in his most recent fight in April he beat Dmitry Irlitsin (3-1) for the Russian Pro FC promotion.

Last year he was signed by top European promotion Cage Warriors Fighting Championships and in his debut for them in December he defeated the previously unbeaten Richie Knox (3-0) via 1st round TKO.
