Urijah Faber

I just got done watching this kid defend his featherweight title for the 16th time......yes it's WEC but this kid is good. Why has he not been signed by the UFC? This kid is a great ground technician, good striking ability, and has submissions. Anyone know why he's not in the UFC lightweight div.?

My best guess is that he'd give Sherk a run for his money and that ain't a good thing for UFC marketing.

Because hes a Featherweight and the UFC needs to add Featherweights and if they do which they should they should defiantly buy him.

Faber shouldn't have to move up a weight division to fight for the UFC, the UFC need Featherweights!

Yeah I was gonna say because the UFC doesn't have featherwieghts and maybe he would suck at LW. I saw the same match and he did great on the ground but come up in weight and I think he would be owned.

WEC is owned by the UFC. It's basically the UFC minor leagues where lacking UFC fighters are sent to get some wins before coming back. Maybe he'll get signed after he loses the title. He could give up the title to get signed but whats the point of giving it up to go to the UFC and risk losing once you get there?

He could pack on 10lbs of muscle and still be as good as he is!

I think sherk would walk through him. I've only seen Faber fight once but wasn't that impresed but but if your 18 - 1 you must have talent. I saw a highlight that showed him in the ufc but i couldn't tell who he was fighting. does anyone know
