Hendo needs somebody to slug at him first, and then back away. He will fire up when and after he's threatened.
This is BAD for Dan because:
Shogun regularly warms his way up into a fight, especially in the recent Overeem II. Shogun was actually getting handled in the first few minutes, got a takedown, and killed the poor Dutchman. It made as much sense as Soku-punches.
That is dangerous for Dan. Look at Dan v Wand I and II. The difference was that:
I- Dan played a level game and Wand went nuts full-bore.
II- Dan got beat up a little, and fired back. Wand wasn't half the psychopath killer after Cro-Cop put him to bed.
Shogun hasn't shown his monster bad-ass side since the Coleman match, but if it reappears, game over for the Middleweight division.
