Yeah, it's Mezger. There's really nobody that was more underrated. I'm still trying to figure out why Pride judges hated him, and always picked against him in fights he clearly won.

Question

As far as active guys go, Randy Couture.
"Whoah, wait a second," you say! "He's one of the most decorated fighters in MMA history."
"Yes, that's true," I reply. "But how many major fights do you remember him being in where he WASN'T the underdog?"
"Ah-hah," you say thoughtfully.
Funny how people have still doubted him, myself included, after all these years of him proving us all wrong. You'd think we'd have learned by now...

they hated ken too. hell probably the whole den. they were always supportive of gracies though. so i guess they had a reason to hate ken and guy. but as far as underrated goes i say rich franklin. ever since he lost his title no one seems to like him anymore..or even talk about him that much.

He lost that BS decision against Akira Shoji (A fight that Shoji didn't win in any manner).

He was brutally headbutted by Wanderlei in their Pride 10 fight, but the ref ignored it.

He beat Sakuraba, but it was declared a draw, and a second round would be added (In a 1 round show).

He lost another BS decision against Arona.

Guy Mezger always seemed like the nicest guy in the ring, though. Always touchin' gloves, and being gracious in both defeat and victory. Did he even complain about the Wandy headbutt? I don't remember him even talking about it.

Guy is a classy...well...guy. He was always classy as far as I remember, never complained about anything. He was actually holding Ken back during the Saku decision telling him not to worry about it. He's very well spoken and educated also. I listened to him on a MMA radio show a few weeks back for about 40 minutes and he was very interesting to listen to.

It's kind of funny how everyone hugs Bas Rutten's nuts like theyre gonna fly away but everyone hates on Ken Shamrock as this overrated joke of a fighter that doesnt deserve to be in the hall of fame.

Given how their head to heads went.
